Media conglomerate, RED | For Africa continued its winning streak, as it won recognition under several categories at the 2022 SABRE Awards Africa. Winners of the much-coveted PR award were announced via the official awards website on 21 April, 2022.
Organized yearly by Provoke Media, the Awards is the global benchmark for excellence in the public relations industry, which recognises Superior Achievement in Branding, Reputation and Engagement (SABRE). RED owned companies, StateCraft Inc. and Red Media Africa beat many top agencies across Africa to emerge victorious in four categories.
This year, hundreds of entries from communication, public relations and media agencies across Africa, were reviewed by a jury of industry leaders, including Aishatu Bello-Garuba, Alexandre Beaulieu, Alfred Nganga, Allan Kamau, Bidemi Zakariyau and Carol Warui, amongst others.
The #DrawTheLine against malaria campaign executed by StateCraft Inc. on behalf of global UK charity, Malaria No More UK, was crowned winner of the Integrated Marketing category, as well recipient of a certificate of excellence in the best West African campaigns category.
Red Media Africa couped recognition of excellence awards in the Superior Achievement in Reputation Management category for campaigns executed on behalf of Access Bank Plc. Popular MTV Base show, Inside Life with Erica -which was also executed with Red Media Africa- won recognition in the Digital Campaigns segment.
The awards will be presented during the African Public Relations Conference scheduled to hold in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Wednesday, 25 May, 2022.
