Chude Jideonwo, co-founder of RED, will be delivering the keynote speech at this year’s Human Rights, Sexuality and The Law Symposium on Wednesday, December 13 at Four Points by Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Organised by The Initiative for Equal Rights (TIERs), the symposium will be focusing on the impact of cultural, traditional and religious ideas on fundamental human rights of sexual minorities in Nigeria, while also discussing the mental health of sexual minorities and other issues surrounding the freedom of expression as a fundamental human need.
The Initiative for Equal Rights (TIERs) is a Nigeria-based registered non-for-profit organisation working to protect and promote the human rights of sexual minorities nationally.
